EnActe Audition Notice
EnActe is announcing auditions for Spartacus by Badal Sircar, based on the book Spartacus by Howard Fast.
This is a non-union, volunteer casting call.
Please prepare a 1-minute monologue from any Shakespeare play of your choice.
About the play: Badal Sircar’s raw street theatre reimagines the timeless tale of revolution. When a gladiator is pushed beyond his limits, he is compelled to lead his fellow slaves in a revolt against the Roman State. Senators and generals feared his mythic army shrouded in mystery, but it was love that drove Spartacus to lead.
