In an intimate fireside chat with Guneet Monga we got a glimpse into the world of ‘India’s Oscar winning Executive Producer’ – the making of The Lunchbox, Gangs of Wasseypur and Period. End of Sentence and her take on operating in the disparate worlds of Hollywood and Bollywood.

Guneet Monga is one of the first Indian producers to be inducted into the Producer Branch of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences and to be featured in Variety International Women Impact Report. She earned a Best Picture nomination at BAFTA for “THE LUNCHBOX”. She has executive produced Academy Award winning documentary PERIOD. END OF SENTENCE and produced various films like THE GANGS OF WASSEYPUR, MASAAN, TIGERS, WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY to name a few. She is the youngest person to be conferred with the ‘Most Powerful Women in Indian Business Award’ by Business Today and was voted as one of the top 12 women achievers in the Global Entertainment Industry by The Hollywood Reporter.

Over Bandishes (melodic compositions) interspersed with life anecdotes – UstadMa Zila Khan unveiled the journey of being one of the torchbearers of a premiere Hindustani Classical Gharana that spans seven generations, breaking with the longstanding father to son tradition.

UstadMa Zila Khan is a world-renowned singer, music entrepreneur, actor, and philanthropist. She is known for her wide repertoire and command over various music styles. Whether it’s Indian Classical, World Music, Indo-Jazz Fusion, Traditional Ghazal, or Sufi music, Zila Khan’s concerts are a rage with audiences.

Zila Khan is also a highly respected supporter of Gender Equality, Women’s Rights, and the Protection of Cultural Heritage. She started India’s first music & comedy festival that is solely headlined by female artists.

She has been conferred the Incredible India Award by the Ministry of Tourism and is a recipient of the prestigious Ghalib Award.
