Shows and events that EnActe produces are groundbreaking, thought provoking, universally appealing theatre, storytelling and conversations of the highest quality. Each year EnActe develops and produce two major productions per year as well as an ongoing series of Beyond the Box events.

The EnActe Pro Production

EnActe’s Pro Production is the marquis event of the season. It is developed together with acclaimed professional artists and highlights EnActe’s theme of the year.

The premiere is held in the Bay Area following which it may travel to a shortlist of cities in the greater Bay Area and across the country and occasionally internationally!

EnActe Beyond the Box

Beyond the Box is EnActe’s homage to the Eastern tradition of theatre where the people are. It is theatre outside the physical confines of the amphitheater as well outside the traditional boundaries of form.

The Conservatory Showcase

The EnActe Conservatory showcase is the culmination of a yearlong program. a professional quality production; written, designed and produced by students of EnActe School of Drama’s Conservatory program.

In 2020 the pilot cohort of the Conservatory adapted and produced Ajay Chowdhury’s The Case of the Vanishing Firefish and presented a wildly successful multisensory show that that wowed audiences at the Cubberley Theater in Palo Alto!
